The HKABA NSW Chapter hosted its 10th anniversary
Business Awards at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney on Friday 23 October
2009. More than 500 guests attended the event. The Hon. Kevin
Greene MP (Minister for Gaming and Racing, Minister for Sport
and Recreation and Member for Oatley) and the Hon. Phillip
Ruddock MP (Federal Member for Berowra) were the guest speakers.
There were 12 finalists and 6 entities were announced as winners
in the following award categories:
(a) export of services; (b) import of services; (c) export
of goods; (d) import of goods; (e) creative SME; (f) contribution
to industry.
The Grand Award was awarded to the Master Builders Association
of NSW, being recognised as the most outstanding amongst the
6 entities winners.
Monies raised through raffle tickets were donated to the Elderly
Australian Chinese Homes.
Ian Mathison, Wayne Cao and Malinda Kuo from the SA Chapter
attended the NSW Business Awards.
