"The YPG is independently run under HKABA-SA, a not-for-profit business association.  At the end of this e-mail is an introduction about ourselves.

To briefly introduce our YPG team, co-chair Malinda Kuo is a commercial lawyer at DMAW Lawyers and is pursuing a postgraduate degree concurrently.  She is also a Project Manager of one of HKABA-SA's popular events, Business Speed Dating, in cooperation with Business SA.  Our media person, Wayne Cao, runs Chinese community paper iAge and iAge Media, a media company.  Vicky Kuok is the founder and co-chair of the YPG, and has been on the HKABA-SA committee for over
three years.  Vicky Kuok is a superannuation accountant at Pitcher Partners while studying part-time in the Chartered Accountants Program.

If I may, I will be pleased to speak with you about participating in our Group.  We are actively seeking like-minded people to join us and possibly join our YPG Committee.  Please let me know when and at which number it is most convenient to reach you.

Joining us is easy - simply complete the application at http://www.hkaba.com.au/membership/application.html .
With this membership, not only will you be a member of the national Hong Kong Australia Business Association which covers most states, but also have affiliation with the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide.  Needless to say you will automatically be one of our YPG members.

HKABA-SA Young Professionals Group The HKABA-SA Young Professionals Group (YPG) was established to provide opportunities for HKABA-SA members who are young professionals from commerce and industry or who are new in their careers to pursue their professional, social and personal development through organising and participating in our activities and events.

Unlike other professional groups which boast their size and affiliation with other organisations, we seek to develop a
closely-knitted connection professionally, socially and personally - a group that develops business leads, cross-referencing, and furthermore, friendships.

HKABA-SA YPG Committee The aim of the YPG committee is to attract a group of dedicated, caring and ambitious team of professionals to achieve the objectives of the Group and its members.

Enquiries to join the Committee or to become a member are welcome.
Please contact Vicky Kuok at ypg@hkabasa.asn.au.

Activities and Events

The HKABA-SA YPG activities and events are more than cocktails and seminars.  Besides networking in a professional context, the YPG also provides a variety of leisurely activities where members can get to know each other in a social and relaxed environment.  For example, our first event is to visit Artlab Australia for an art restoration viewing tour."
