The HKABA SA Chapter is a non-profit South Australian
business association that is established for the following
objects and purposes:
a) To promote contact and communications between business
people of Hong Kong, China and South Australia.
b) To provide a forum for increasing knowledge and understanding
of Hong Kong, China and south Australia.
c) To assist in the development and promotion of business
and investment between Hong Kong, China and South Australia.
d) To disseminate information on trade and investment opportunities
between Hong Kong, China and South Australia.
e) To provide a forum for the provision of recognition and
incentive to members who strive for excellence in all aspects
of international trade between Hong Kong, China and South
Australia.
f) To provide support to the Federation of Hong Kong Business
Associations world wide.
The Association is run by a dynamic team consisting of honorary
committee members, with diverse and sound business experience,
excellent communication skills, well established Hong Kong
connections and in depth knowledge of Chinese language and
culture.

To achieve the objects of the Association the committee of
management organize and carry out:

Development of strategic partnership with South
Australian Government and other trade bodies via Hong
Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), the Hong Kong
Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong Tourism
Board and Invest Hong Kong.
Speaker Programmes.
Inbound and Out bound Trade Missions.
Foster Adelaide Student Members
Signed a Memorandum of Co-operation with Qingdao
CCPIT (China council for the Promotion of International
Trade, Qingdao Branch).
Initiated the annually held Food & Wine Appreciation
Dinner to promote HK cuisine and Australian Wines.
Organized in conjunction with HKETO and the Equestrian
Federation of Australia, the promotion of 2008 Beijing
Olympic Equestrian Event to be held in Hong Kong, at
one of South Australian’s most prestigious show jumping
events.
Hold annually the Business Award Dinner where
South Australian Companies are recognized for their
successful trading in both goods and services with Hong
Kong.
